I called a client and asked him to take a photo of his Texas Driver's License and text it to me. When I received the text I sent it to my email address and then printed a copy of the driver's license. I then ordered his medical records again from St. David's Round Rock Medical Center and included the photo of the client's Texas Driver's license with the records request to verify the identity of my client to the custodian of records at the hospital.

I settled a client's liability, personal injury protection and Underinsured Motorists Coverage bodily injury claims today and I wrote the client a check for her share of the settlement proceeds I had obtained on her behalf and then wrote checks for all of the outstanding medical bills she still owed and mailed those checks to the various medical providers.
